- Afternoon wilting and very fast drying. Intense sun drives transpiration faster than the roots can supply, especially in containers. This is a water-supply problem, not a reason to reduce sun.
- Yellowing lower leaves with crispy edges. Combined heat, high light, and moisture swings show up first on the oldest foliage at the base of the plant.
The fix is almost never less light.
